Splits aren't the only thing you need to practice in order to improve your splits. I have put together a series of movements to better prepare your body for the stress splits can put on the joints. Please keep in mind, we are all built differently. Hip bones and hip joints come in so many sizes, shapes, and placements. Always work within your range of motion, and focus on what range feels best for your skeletal make up. Please do not participate in any new movements without consulting with your doctor. If pain occurs during any steps please stop immediately, and seek assistance from a qualified professional.
